Queen Elizabeth II's Burial Date Revealed
The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will be held on
September 19, according to the Palace.
Remember that Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday at the
age of 96.
Many dignitaries and prominent figures from around the
world have paid glowing tributes to the late monarch.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, King Charles III was formally
proclaimed as the United Kingdom's new monarch.
According to Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II's
state funeral will take place in London on Monday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m.
The late monarch's coffin will lie in state in
Westminster Hall beginning Wednesday, allowing the public to pay their
respects.
The service is expected to be led by either the Dean of
Westminster or the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Church of England's senior
bishop.
