Chapter one
A girl named Chiyere, who
was from the hamlet of Uduongwo, lived there. She was obedient and lived
peacefully with her parents. Being the only child of her parents, she was very
cherished.
But something took place.
Everyone was hoping for a
boy to be born when Nneka, her mother, became pregnant. She returned to the
farm eight months later, taking her daughter Chiyere and her hunter father into
the bush.
Nneka began shouting,
"ah!" as she was weeding the grass. Ah!! A!! My stomach, My Stomach,
and the daughter chased after her, asking, "Mama, what's the matter?"
As she continued to scream, the daughter went and made a call for assistance.
Several women arrived and
brought her home.
CHAPTER 2
Labor day had arrived. They
shouted, "Push Push! Push!" as she wanted to deliver as usual. The
baby died and she gave up since she was unable to cling on once more.
The lone youngster,
Chiyere, mourned her mother for five solid months before finding bravery.
Her father, a hunter, went
out hunting and brought home a large amount of meat. While Chiyere was fetching
water from the creek, a guy came and informed her that her father intended to
wed another woman. She immediately raced home and asked her father,
"Father, why? I can't go on like this, the father said, "but you said
you wouldn't forget my mother. He went and gave her the wedding money before
taking her home as his wife. Years later, the woman began abusing Chiyere; she
had persuaded her father into doing everything she wanted. Until the woman one
day tainted the girl's food, the poor girl endured much suffering. After
returning from his hunt, the father went to the kitchen in search of food
because he was hungry and exhausted. He consumed the poisoned food despite
seeing it. When her dad passed away, Chiyere went to the kitchen to eat the food
that was intended for her but instead discovered her father lying dead. She
sobbed uncontrollably before returning home and discovering her husband had
passed away. The girl responded by telling the woman what had transpired. She
yelled and referred to the girl as a mutterer. She said that Chiyere tainted
her father's supper when the peasants arrived. They yelled, "Aru! Aru!!!!
Chiyere was taken to the king's palace by (Meaning Abomination).
The poor girl grieved and
was cruelly in agony, she struggled in the evil forest to sustain her life, and
the villagers carried her to the evil forest and told her never to step foot on
their land again or she would be decapitated.
CHAPTER THREE (3)
She had spent five (5)
years alone in the wilderness before being raped by a man by the name of
Okafor. When it came time for her to give birth at nine (9) months, no one
assisted her in the delivery room. She attempted to give birth on her own but
was unsuccessful, so a farmer and his wife heard someone yelling, "Help!!
Help!!! "So they traveled in that direction and found Chiyere in labor.
The farmer's wife assisted her in giving birth, although she was the one who
actually caused the child. When the farmer questioned her why she replied that
a man named Okafor had raped her and caused her to suffer in this way.
After she passed away two
weeks later, the farmer and his wife adopted the infant and raised the boy as
their own because they were childless.
The child got older as the
years went by. The farmer and his wife passed away a short while afterward
because they were both elderly. The youngster was abandoned.
The poor youngster suffered
for a very long time by himself. One day as the youngster was searching for
food in the bush, a very large truck passed by. The boy jumped inside as the
truck was traveling toward the city. The boy leaped off when they arrived in the
city and spent days without food or water under the flyover. He discovered 500
nairas on the ground when he awoke one morning. Even though he was starving, he
didn't use the money to buy food; instead, he used it to buy two bags of pure
water, bulked up, and began making a lot of money. He gained a lot of weight
selling up to 20 bags a day and was never hungry, but one night while he was
sleeping under the flyover, his money was taken, and when he awoke to go buy
fresh water, he was unable to locate it. He sobbed uncontrollably until a man
who had raped his mother happened to pass by and noticed him. The boy and the
man became friends, and the man invited him to stay at his house. When the man
asked him about himself, the boy replied that a farmer had told him that his
mother had been raped while she was in the evil forest, gave birth, and then
passed away. The man grieved and told the youngster, "I am your
father," as he swiftly recalled the time he had raped a lady. The boy was
then shucked and asked the man, "Did you rape my mother?" The man
responded, "Yes, I did."
He was informed by the
youngster that the farmer had claimed the boy's mother was to blame. And they
brought him to church so they could pray. His name was also changed from Afunwa
to Destiny after the pastor prayed for him, setting him free from the problem.
Mr. Okafor and Destiny became good friends.
Destiny attended college,
completed his degree, read law, and eventually became a lawyer. He received a
promotion to Supreme Court judgeship as well. Additionally, he had the chance
to fly abroad to experience life elsewhere.
Destiny married and gave
birth to kids.
