Liverpool vs Man City: How we plan to stop Haaland – Klopp
Sunday's match between Liverpool and Manchester City
will be played at Anfield, and manager Jurgen Klopp has outlined how his squad
will stop Erling Haaland.
Haaland has scored 20 goals for Man City thus far since
joining the team.
The 22-year-old will want to build on his impressive
performance at Anfield.
He believes that all Klopp's players need to do is
ensure that Haaland doesn't see as many balls.
"When you play against the best striker in the
world, you have to make sure he doesn't get many balls. That's the issue with
him. We'll give it a shot.
"If you line up too many players against City to
block Haaland, you open gaps for the other top players. Although it won't make
life any simpler, Klopp told reporters on Friday that the issue is one that
faces football.
