The death of Ifeanyi, son of Afro-pop singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has been confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command.

Ifeanyi, Davido's three-year-old son, is late, according to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin.

After Ifeanyi's death, police summoned eight persons for interrogation, according to Hundeyinn.

According to a police official, anyone found to be responsible for the child's death after a thorough investigation would be arrested.

"The child is no longer alive. We have brought in about eight persons for questioning, and we are examining the situation. "Anyone discovered to be responsible for the child's death will be arrested," Hundeyin stated.

 

Ifeanyi drowned in a pool at Davido's residence in Banana Island, Lagos State, according to several sources on Monday.

Following the event, the child was allegedly transported to a local hospital.

Amid Davido's fans' anxieties, an associate of the musician, Eniola Badmus, shared a now-deleted photograph of sadness, implying a tragic occurrence had occurred.

Nigerian celebrities have expressed their sympathies to Davido and Chioma Rowland following the death of their kid.

"I'm absolutely at a loss for words," singer Paul Play Dairo stated. This is really painful. "Don't lose heart, David."

"I stated I won't trust anything on social media unless I physically confirm myself," actor Williams Uchemba posted on Instagram. I prayed that it was a lie. I'm upset, hurt, and perplexed. Nobody deserves to be in this kind of misery.

All attempts to speak with FEM crooner's close pals were futile since no one was ready to confirm or refute the occurrence.

The facts behind Ifeanyi's supposed death remained murky.

According to an unsubstantiated allegation, the three-year-old drowned in the swimming pool at his father's home in Lagos State.

According to the report, Davido was on his way to the United States when the event occurred, and Chioma was reported to have traveled to Ibadan and left the kid with a female domestic worker.

Two years ago, another musician, Dapo Oyebanjo, commonly known as D'banj, lost his kid, who also drowned in the home swimming pool.
